About the author
Abbas
Atrvash a former Iran Air executive, was born in Abadan, Iran
in 1938. After completion of his high school, he joined
Iranian Airways, the predecessor of Iran Air, in
the same city in 1958, later he continued his service in Shiraz until 1964.
Between 1964 and 1975, he served as Iran Air manager in
Lebanon, Pakistan, UK and Ireland and
Greece. He then returned to Iran Air head office in Tehran
and
until the end of his service with Iran Air in 1980, he
held positions such as senior sales manager, senior manager for
Iran, director for Iran and middle east, acting deputy managing director,
commercial and director for Iran Air offices, inside and outside Iran.
He left Iran in 1983, first lived in Europe for a short
period of time and later US
and finally in Toronto, Canada.
While in Canada he established
EXIR, The Group of Iran Air Former Employees.
The objective of this group is to promote the communication among Iran Air
former employees.
